The 2000 meeting, held on January 30 at the Wood Memorial Library in South Windsor, CT, was highlighted by the presence of 3 speakers:

> Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni, Connecticut State Archaeologist;

> Dr. Kathy Abbass, who will speak on the Rhode Island Marine Archaeology Project; and,

> a 15 minute slide presentation given by students from Arace Middle School in Bloomfield, CT.
