2007 Annual Meeting Info
The 2007 meeting, held on January 27 at the Smith Middle School in Glastonbury, CT, was highlighted by the
presence of Dr. DOUGLAS SCOTT, a battlefield and forensic archaeologist, has had a long-term interest in the
archaeology of the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain areas. Retiring from the National Parks Service after 30
years, he was awarded the U.S. Department of the Interior's Distinguished Service Award for his innovative
research in battlefield archaeology that began at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Montana.
Dr. Scott has written numerous books on this topic, two of which will be available for purchase and signing
after the presentation.
As part of the business portion of the meeting, Mike Raber and Gary Nolf were presented with Certificates of
